NET is an annual high school economics competition hosted by Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. It aims to provide students with a challenging and engaging learning experience to further their interest in economics. NET welcomes all high school students to participate, regardless of previous knowledge of economics. NET is free to participate in, and there will be both a virtual and in-person competition held on Northwestern’s campus.
NET24, the 8th annual tournament, will be held April 6th-7th, 2024. Last year, NET hosted 120+ students from 28 teams and 6 countries. In addition to testing their economics knowledge and winning cash prizes, students also have the chance to hear from professors, students, and alumni about economics, Northwestern, and future career paths.
